Welcome to an exclusive exhibition of work by ELLIOT POTTER, a new, young and developing talent in the world of photography.
With an enthusiasm from an early age and a natural eye for an interesting composition, Elliot has been studying photography more formally over the past year. He is a GCSE student at a school in Ipswich where he is being encouraged and supported in extending his skills. Over recent years Elliot has also been fortunate enough to travel to some locations which have presented fascinating subjects.
Elliot's personal preference is for the clarity of black and white film photography which he then develops, digitises and prints. His expanding portfolio, however, contains a wide range of photos, both in colour and black and white. He is actively developing his range of digital and digitally-edited photography as well as experimenting with new subjects.
Earlier this year, Elliot donated a framed photograph to a local charity art auction where it was very well received. Subsequently, in July, another of his photographs was chosen as the winner of SNAP 2010 in the 13-18 year old Landscape Photography category. This is an annual, local inter-school competition judged by a panel of experts including representatives from Ipswich Photographic Society, The EADT/Argent Press and a well-respected, established local artist.
Now, following an invitation from Richard Everitt to exhibit in the K-Bar, Elliot has put together a collection of photographs, predominantly black and white, all of which are available as limited edition prints. If you are interested in purchasing any of the framed prints, please speak to Richard at K Bar & Grill. Alternatively email
