Our Story

K bar and grill has been one year in planning and many more years in thought! The idea of owning and running a great bar and grill began with my parents over thirty years ago.
My parents were looking for a venue (of which this was one) to open as a restaurant and offer great handmade burgers and succulent steaks in a fun & relaxed atmosphere - which was unique back then. We took over the reigns of Keo Bar Bistro in May 2009 and soon set about making some necessary changes to a glorious but ageing restaurant and building.

We haven't changed everything, we're still serving our very popular fresh sandwiches every lunchtime along with our tempting new grill menu.

With the invaluable help of seasoned staff and enthusiastic new members of the team, front of house has been subtly transforming into our vision for K bar and grill. Head Chef Michael Wainwright, brings with him years of experience and knowledge of great dishes and quality ingredients bringing you the exciting grill menu we have available today.
All our produce is sourced from local suppliers and producers and brought in on a daily basis to ensure only the freshest ingredients are served to our customers.

Our Wine list has been put together with the help of our friends at Wines fantastic, it may appear short but what it lacks in the number of bins it makes up for in exquisite drinkable wines.
